EleCare Jr Unflavored is an amino acid-based, hypoallergenic medical food from Abbott Nutrition formulated for children ages 1 year and older who cannot tolerate intact or hydrolyzed protein.

The formula is designed for children with conditions requiring an amino acid-based nutritional source, including those who cannot tolerate milk, soy or protein hydrolysate formulas.

EleCare Jr has been clinically shown to be well tolerated in patients who cannot tolerate intact or hydrolyzed protein and has been shown to support growth when used as a primary source of calories in children with severe food allergies and cow’s milk allergy.

EleCare Jr Unflavored meets or exceeds 100% of the Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs) for protein and 25 essential vitamins and minerals for children ages 1 through 13.

The unflavored formulation provides flexibility when incorporating the product into an appropriate nutrition plan.
